Abbie met her husband while they were both working at the same business, and they soon started a family of their own. Unfortunately, even though Abbie’s husband is currently working full-time and the family is doing well financially, she still misses her dream of becoming a famous singer.
Despite leaving behind her dream of being a famous singer, Abbie insists that she’s not bitter about what happened. In fact, she says that it has been wonderful having more time for herself and her children.
How Did Cineworld Stevenage React When They Found Out About Abbie’s Decision?
When Abbie made the decision to leave Wannabe Kids behind and move to London to be with her boyfriend, she wasn’t sure how her friends at Cineworld Stevenage would take the news. Luckily, they were supportive and understanding, and didn’t judge her for making a change in her life. Even though she’s been away for a while, Abbie has kept in touch with many of her old friends at the cinema. When she returned to visit last Christmas, she was blown away by how much Cineworld Stevenage had changed – they now have a new screen and theatre! The whole staff had gotten together to decorate the place, and it looked amazing. They even gave her a big hug when she arrived!

Abbie started working at Cineworld Stevenage aged just 16 after leaving Wannabe Kids behind. She’s now a Management Trainee and gives her advice to other young adults who are looking to pursue a career in entertainment:
“If you want to pursue a career in entertainment, don’t be afraid to take the plunge and go for it! It may seem daunting at first, but if you have a passion for what you do and work hard, it will all pay off in the end.
Be persistent – don’t give up on your dreams no matter how difficult it may seem at times. And don’t forget that family and friends are always there to support you – they might not know what you’re doing, but they’ll be happy to see you achieve your goals. Finally, never stop learning – keep growing as an artist and as a person so that you can keep progressing in your field. There is always room for improvement!”
Conclusion
I watched Wannabe the other day and was really disappointed. I thought it would be a great movie because of all the hype surrounding it, but turns out it was just okay. However, one thing that stood out to me was Abbie’s storyline. She left her wannabe kids behind to pursue her dream of being a singer and actress and I couldn’t help but be impressed by how strong she is for doing what she loves. In today’s society, where we are constantly told to conform to societal norms in order to be successful, Abbie’s story is definitely an inspiration worth following.
