The JCPSHARE Society members had a lot of fun on the trip and learned a lot about homelessness and how to help put an end to it. They also built relationships with one another and created memories that they will never forget. Thanks to the JCPSHARE Society’s trip, we were able to raise awareness about youth homelessness in Memphis and make some great connections with local nonprofit organizations.

What happened during the recent JCPSHARE trip to Florida?

The JCPSHARE trip to Florida last month was a great success! The students and staff participated in numerous activities aimed at raising awareness about major diseases and disorders, as well as providing information and resources on how to prevent them. In addition to educational programming, the group also visited several hospitals and clinics, where they were able to meet with patients and their families.

One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at Tampa General Hospital.vc This was an amazing experience for all of us, and we learned a lot about pediatric health care. We also had the chance to talk to some of the doctors who work in the PICU, and they were very generous with their time.

It was great to see so many people united in our effort to raise awareness about major diseases and disorders. We are grateful to JCPSHARE for organizing this wonderful trip, and we hope that it will help us spread awareness about these important issues.

They also participated in different programs related to mental health, such as yoga and meditation.

The JCPSHARE Honor Society hopes this trip will help raise awareness for mental health and provide resources for students who are struggling. This is an important issue because one in five Americans experience some form of mental illness in their lifetime.

Why Form an Honor Society?

One of the best things about being a student at Jefferson County Public Schools is the opportunity to form Honor Societies. Honor Societies are a great way for students to get involved and raise awareness around important issues within their community. Recently, the Jefferson County Public Schools’ (JCPS) Honor Society, JCPSHARE THE JOY, took a trip to promote awareness for Down Syndrome. The trip was a great success, and helped to raise awareness for an important cause.

The JCPSHARE THE JOY team made a lot of new friends on their recent trip. They visited various places throughout Louisville, including the Brown Memorial Library, which is home to the United Way’s Down Syndrome Resource Center. The team also toured the Children’s Hospital of Kentucky and met with patients and their families. One of the team’s main goals was to provide information and resources about Down Syndrome so that people could make informed decisions about their loved ones.

How JCPSHARE THE JOY Raised Money for Charity

JCPSHARE THE JOY recently held a charity drive in order to raise money for The Salvation Army. This event was successful, and the JCPSHARE THE JOY members raised a total of $1,000. They were able to do this by selling wristbands and donating the proceeds to The Salvation Army. This is just one example of how the students at JCPS are able to work together and raise money for a good cause.

What Activities Did JCPSHARE THE JOY Participate In During Their Recent Trip To The Bahamas?

JCPSHARE THE JOY participated in a variety of activities while on their recent trip to the Bahamas. These activities included scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing, and swimming. The group also visited various local restaurants and shops. Overall, JCPSHARE THE JOY enjoyed their time in the Bahamas and were able to raise awareness about pediatric cancer through their activities.

Conclusion

Last month, the Junior Class of Pinson High School took a trip to Washington D.C. in order to participate in the annual March for Life. The trip was organized by JCPSHARE (Junior Class Philanthropy and Service Association), an organization which raises money and awareness for various charity events throughout the year. This particular event, which takes place every January 25th, is focused on preventing abortion rights violations.

The group of students arrived in D.C., had a great time touring the city and participating in various rallies, marches and speeches. They also met with some noteworthy politicians such as Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ). In total, JCPSHARE raised over $10,000 for their chosen charities during this trip – money that will go a long way in helping to make a difference!
