What happened during the recent JCPSHARE trip to Florida?
The JCPSHARE trip to Florida last month was a great success! The students and staff participated in numerous activities aimed at raising awareness about major diseases and disorders, as well as providing information and resources on how to prevent them. In addition to educational programming, the group also visited several hospitals and clinics, where they were able to meet with patients and their families.
One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at Tampa General Hospital.vc This was an amazing experience for all of us, and we learned a lot about pediatric health care. We also had the chance to talk to some of the doctors who work in the PICU, and they were very generous with their time.
